Review on Camelbak Skirmish Antidote Hydration Backpack for Enhanced SEO by Adam Jackson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Breast and kidney asterisks!

I purchased this backpack for an upcoming trip with my brothers and I expect it to meet or exceed CamelBack's high expectations of me. So the trip never happened. Still, it has proven to be a valuable tool for me. First of all, take this as a 3.5 rating on the product itself. My brother was a Marine Sergeant and my friend was an Army Sergeant, both praised CamelBack and both saw action in Iraq. (Both were called "POG" so is "Action" the right word? I'm kidding!) I looked at this pack recently when I was working for a contractor for a large communications company; unfortunately, this particular model was not available in black or grey, a suitable color for a "pencil". the years were great in it! If you're like me and your pack hits the back of your brain bucket due to a sudden stop on your MTB, you'll appreciate that this pack has kidney belts (I wish they were as thick as the ACU belt though). Also, the women's buckles seem to be thinner than I'm used to from CamelBack. and the like CamelBack is a GSA contract holder. I expect to change the rating from one star to one out of five in a month or two! Update: In less than a year, the bladder has a slight micro-leak, the fabric is frayed at the corner, so the plastic bottom panel shows a toss. Skirmish is resistant to light rain, except rain flies will not let through even light rain. However, this is a great backpack for school. My 15" Samsung laptop, accessories, notepads (paper) and raincoat fit perfectly, there's room for lunch! By the way, you can add extra pockets.
