Review on Enhanced XRT500 QWERTY Keyboard: Backlit Remote for VIZIO M-Series Smart TVs by Jose Muenzen

This remote control is actually better than the one that came with my TV. The QWERTY keyboard is a welcome addition and the price is great. The outer plastic has been removed and the batteries have been put in odd places, but I think you should expect to make room for the keyboard on the other side. The only problem is that the outer plastic around the remote that you remove to change the batteries is very easy to damage. One wrong fall and the very thin outer plastic ripped. In fact, this is the second remote control of this type that I have ordered. The first was damaged in a fall (I have a child) and I can hardly blame anyone for damaging this remote. This is something that anyone can easily have. The good news is that this remote control is cheap. The even better news is that I'm obviously not the only person having this issue with this remote as there is someone using a third party to do it (see photos). The remote has withstood MANY falls with this case and is actually more comfortable in the hand. 4 stars for a good remote control at a good price that breaks too easily. 5 stars after adding the case because this Remote Plus Case makes it perfect.
