My wife and I recycle all of our cans and bottles. I crush cans and bottles with my hands before placing them in a special collection bin. My wife just throws them away and the waste of space is driving me crazy. Found this at Revain and although it would be a great tool to keep next to the trash can for us to crush and throw away. My wife loves it. She's already noticed the money we've saved by not constantly changing bags. This particular unit is pretty solid with the included mounting hardware. The hand pull is smooth and gets the job done. It was a great tool to get our daughter involved in the recycling process. We make fun by organizing competitions. I shred by hand and she uses this shredder, first to win 50. There are many on the market, this one is inexpensive, durable and not an eyesore to the home.
