These shoes are perfect for hiking. I was initially skeptical about the lacing system, but it hugs the foot exactly as needed for stability over rough terrain. . I bought these after weeks of searching for the perfect hiking shoe for my day hikes in rocky and muddy terrain. The color is perfect too! The ONLY thing I would like to warn you before buying is to go down the size. I usually wear size 8 sneakers for most brands, sometimes 8.5. After reading the reviews I scaled them down to a 7.5 and they fit great. A little more toe box room could have gotten away with a 7. Otherwise, order these!
