Review on Unleashing the Power: DC Comics Transforming Exclusive Accessories by Juan Russell

My seven year old grandson is a very big Batman fan. One could well call him a "cloaked Crusader worshiper." When I saw this Bat-Tech Batcave I knew I had to buy it for him. Being a good grandfather, of course I had to collect it for him so it was ready to play when he arrived. All I can say is what a nightmare! Putting the individual panels together wasn't difficult, it just took a long time. But the "final assembly"... ie attaching the front panels to the back... didn't work. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't fit the panels properly into the hinges on the back. And even after two days of trying, it's still not right. As you can see from the photos, the panels don't align properly, don't close properly, or even stay attached to the back wall... they pop open every time it's opened or closed. I don't know if it's plastic, warped or just poor design and construction quality. My grandson still enjoys playing with parts of his Batcave. But for what it's worth, it has to work properly for him to play it the way it's meant to be played.
