Review on 🔊 Monoprice 107496 8-Ohm Active Wall Mount Speakers: Enhanced Audio Experience in White (Pair) by Christina Xiong

Sound quality: 3 stars Sound quality is so-so - don't expect much from it A kit costs less than $150. Loud enough for our 1400 square meter school canteen. The specified frequency range is somewhat marginal - there was an unacceptable level of harmonic distortion - the speakers sounded "booming", not clean at all. Adjusting the bass didn't help much (maximizing the treble helped a lot). Product quality / customer service: 0 stars. One of the mounting knobs/screws was defective (crooked) and could not be used. I couldn't just go to the local hardware store and buy a suitable replacement to get the job done. The only option available from Revain is to return the entire refund kit (I used a store order) for a refund (and start the entire purchase process over). I asked Monoprice (mfr) for help; They couldn't just send me a small piece. Now I have to start over and risk losing the installation window. Addendum: The second set also had mounting issues :-( Monoprice gets 1 star for that. I've replaced all the mounting knobs with bits from the local hardware store and have had good results. Hard to go wrong with the price when you put it on Don't mind reworking the fasteners. Remember these are POWERFUL speakers which makes installation easy. They are suitable for classroom use. One last thing - why are black speakers cheaper? :-/
