While the curvature and size of this monitor is great, its quality is not. If you're used to the quality and resolution of Apple's Retina displays, you'll likely be disappointed as you get pixelated text on this screen. As a developer, I spend hours reading and writing texts. It's impossible to get clear text on this monitor even after looking at countless blog posts to adjust monitor settings. Worst of all, after 8 months the screen just died as you can see in the attached image. Now I have to go through a fight to replace him. Hopefully Samsung is just as good at customer service, but it's still annoying. If you need a clear monitor to encode, consider other monitors with resolutions above 5K. Update: Terrible experience with Samsung customer service. waste of time and money. Samsung didn't change the screen. Instead, they suggested opening an investigation against UPS. This is the last Samsung product I ever bought.
