This flash is useful when shooting at a scale of 1:1 - insects, moss, various elements of flowers and plants (petals, pistils, stamens, leaves), etc. If you shoot at high magnification (Canon MP-E 65), use macro rings, or macro bellows, then it is simply necessary. I shoot with diffusers (to soften the light). Made from ordinary diffusers for a standard flash (size 60 x 40 mm). They fit perfectly, you just need to slightly modify it with a clerical knife (the issue price is 190). The diffusers themselves and examples of photos taken using this flash can be viewed here: Good luck to all those who are fond of macro photography, as well as dentists. )))
