I placed the entrance closest to the wall so my cats have to use the rest of the lid to get out. I was hoping there would be enough room for the bedding and for the most part it worked but not enough so I bought these rugs to accommodate the rest. The rugs are simple, stay in place and do their best to trap dirt. I just had to shake them out to get rid of the debris. I wish they were a little bigger (I bought 15.75" x 12") but the next size up would be too big for what I need. For reference, the size of the bag is 30 x 20 inches.
