The goods are well packaged, clean, no excessive signs of wear. I am satisfied with this Aida, although to be safe I have no experience with the highest quality Aida of different brands. The holes are crisp and consistent, great for those seeking the benefits of a 14 count. I'll be using mine for practice and looking forward to it! However, for true cross stitch beginners I would recommend looking into a stitch fabric or stitch marker that can be used with a 14 count Aida.
