I bought cables to connect a 1500/3000w inverter directly to the battery. The 5 Ga wire size is just enough for the application so they are ideal. They are malleable, have a soft, almost silicone-like covering (insulation) and the ring terminals are sealed very well with shrink tubing. I haven't installed it yet, but don't see any problems. They arrived intact within the 2 day shipping window and therefore received a 5 star rating in my book.
