I bought this to wear over my swimwear and it fits perfectly. But if you're planning on wearing it as a skirt, think twice about buying it: it's thin, sheer, and runs small. I bought a large for my curvy 158 lb frame and I'm 5ft 6in tall. I wear 6 or 8 in clothes. I plan on cold washing and air drying. It's polyester and stretchy but not the best quality.
