Quality worth paying extra for

At first I thought the price of a pair of socks was too high but my opinion changed after I started wearing them. One of the positive aspects is the fact that they are made from recycled materials derived from marine waste, which is really important these days when we take care of this planet we call home. They are well constructed and I could feel the benefit of the support in the arch. At the end of a long day wearing these socks across a variety of activities, my food didn't feel "tired". Although not a common "use case", I also wore these socks under another pair of thicker socks when the weather was colder. . It was actually very comfortable due to the slim design and tight fit (no wrinkles). More importantly, my feet were warm and not sweaty - which usually happens when you have to wear 2 pairs of socks at the same time. Being ankle or quarter-length socks, this was a great layering scenario for staying warm and comfortable. One of the features of these socks is that they require less washing. While I probably wouldn't normally test this without washing my socks between wears, I wanted to verify that this was true. I actually ventured into socks for 3 days without washing them (my gut is screaming EWWW) and was actually quite surprised that they perform as promised and don't smell! This benefit would make these socks a great option for backpackers and hikers who don't have access to running water on the trails.
