There are many products of this type on the market, and their big disadvantage is that the magnet is not strong enough or the LED light is weak , or they burn up batteries pretty quickly. This LED work light is not like that. It's fairly bright (I think 700 lumens would be accurate enough, by comparison a 60 watt bulb gives around 800 lumens) and has good battery life on a rechargeable battery. The magnet is also very strong. Strong enough to store under the hood of your car and not worry about it shifting, and you can get light where you need it with the flip-up lamp head. The concentrated single LED at the top is also handy for use as a regular flashlight. I bought it as a gift and loved it so much I bought it for myself.
