Got my cable in the mail today. Looks like a good cable, the speakon connectors seem to be good quality but I bought it to cut in half and use as 2 cables because my amp only connects to the bare speaker wire. I've read a lot of reviews that say they don't actually have 12 gauge wire, but most of those were previous reviews. So I assumed they might have fixed it. NO. The wire in them is about 18 gauge! Maybe 2 together could be 12 gauge, but that's not how speaker wire is rated. An 18 gauge will work for me because I only have a 15 foot piece, but I don't have much wire to work on one end. Hence my 2 star rating for FALSE advertising by Pyle. It says these are professional grade 12 gauge speaker cables right on the box and on the case itself. Not that it matters, but you'll get an email from me. Using a 30ft speaker still works for most purposes, but I wouldn't use anything more if they use the same cable for them too! I would NOT buy this cable if I knew for sure I wasn't going to get 12 gauge or at least 14 gauge, but since I cut it in half I'm sticking with it for now.
