You need to change the audio output on your device!

. I have a Macbook Air with M1 chip and couldn't use my Apple headphones because of USB-C, but I bought this adapter to use and works great! At first my music wasn't playing through my headphones but you MUST change the OUTPUT on your device. Go to Settings, then Sound and go to Output. You should have already selected your device's speakers, so you need to switch them to USB output. However the price is ridiculous lol should be less than $20. So far it has worked great.
