These little compartments are meant to be stackable. They have grooves to allow them to be stacked, but you can have an inch of space in each compartment. If you want to stack them completely on top of each other, there's nothing holding them in place. Maybe those black things that came with it reinforce it, but they don't give you instructions, you just get the material. And all my life I couldn't figure out what to do with those black stabilizers. It made no sense, and most importantly, with no direction, I just had to stack them on top of each other, but they would fall at the slightest wind. So this is just a compartment, ms, that I have lying around unused. Not as useful as I had imagined.
