Installed last night. It appears to be made of quality materials and is very durable. I'm a big guy and I wasn't worried that he wouldn't be able to support me. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of an issue I had with it. I have a triple hardcover which made it difficult. Had to adjust it lower to unlock the lid latches. This results in one of the supports being right on top of the cable and I expect wear and tear and possibly even cutting of the cable as the tube is not square in this part. If they made the base a bit narrower, it would be more suitable for millions of people with veils. You should also make the short connecting piece between the base and the ladder square or at least rounded so it doesn't cut into the bed support cable. Otherwise very satisfied so far. It was pretty easy to install and the quality seems great. I'll update the review later if I find more issues with it.
