Love this. We just moved to the Northwest from the American Southwest and it turns out it gets a lot cooler at night. That's actually one of the reasons we moved, but it also means we need to invest in more blankets. It's soft, but not exactly what I think of when I hear the word "microfiber," which usually evokes a slightly fuzzy feel. It's not blurry. We live with too many cats so it's important to have something to protect us from claws running all over us. After a week of use I can say that this is a pretty good protection against it. As the kittens got older we had to wash it 3 times and it is holding up very well. It's quite thin for a duvet, so there's another duvet underneath. It's more of an early fall or late spring weight. It fits our king size bed but doesn't hang a few inches over the brim. This is quite normal with a large ceiling.
