Review on Saucony Guide 10 Women's Running Shoe: Enhanced Performance and Comfort for Female Runners by Brian Rogers

No hard shank in the insole

I bought these Saucony Guide10 shoes to replace my old Saucony Guide 10 shoes that were getting tired from frequent use. Due to foot problems, I chose the original shoes. They were comfortable when no other shoes were available. Fast forward to this week, my podiatrist had me bring in all my shoes to see if they are causing my current horrible plantar fasciitis and to my surprise he told me to get rid of the 10 spare guides and leave the old ones tired. Lead pair 10s. Turns out Saucony removed the stock from the newer ones; he could twist it like a pretzel. The older couple had a stiff socket that supported the food pad and tamed plantar fasciitis. The very part of the shoe that cost over $100 a pair and made me want to come back as a customer is the one they removed. I will not buy Saucony again.
