Great shoes for running/walking.

Love these sneakers! Very convenient! I can walk all day in these Saucony shoes. The colors are beautiful and bright. Very light on my feet and great support for my ankles. I run 2-3 miles 5 times a week and this shoe is perfect for that. The only thing to remember about the Saucony Women's Guide is to go half a size up from your usual shoe size. I'm a size 7 wide, but with this shoe you have to go half a size up (7.5W). Otherwise there is a tight fit. I found out about this a few years ago and

Many variations - be careful!

Based on other reviews I first ordered 1/2 size up (9.5M) and found they fit the same as my other Saucony shoes (narrow heel, wide toe, slightly shorter than them same Saucony sneakers ) size in Asics). But since I ordered 1/2 size bigger, they were too big. So I ordered my usual size - and got a completely different fit! The length and width were correct, but the heel was very narrow and the toe box was so flat that my fingers touched the upper. Also, the laces were very short, not enough to…

No hard shank in the insole

I bought these Saucony Guide10 shoes to replace my old Saucony Guide 10 shoes that were getting tired from frequent use. Due to foot problems, I chose the original shoes. They were comfortable when no other shoes were available. Fast forward to this week, my podiatrist had me bring in all my shoes to see if they are causing my current horrible plantar fasciitis and to my surprise he told me to get rid of the 10 spare guides and leave the old ones tired. Lead pair 10s. Turns out Saucony removed…

Great stability, support and cushioning!

I bought these shoes for running. I typically run 1-6 miles several times a week. Actually this is my second pair. I bought my first pair after analyzing my steps at a running store. My feet pronate (roll inward) and they offer support with a wider base for stability. Although I prefer trail running, I usually run a few miles down the road. I'm in my 40's and appreciate the cushioning they offer. I had no problem wearing these shoes on dirt trails with tree roots and hills. If you're looking…

Almost perfect - love them! You need orthotics.

This is a general overview. I'm still considering going half a size bigger*. Read more about Saucony sizing below. I bought them to run, not to run. I have had a permanent structural angulation in my left foot (very high instep and protruding upper bone) for many years after breaking my ankle. I want a strong heel construction and high arch support. In width my old injured foot is wide. Right normal, slightly wide side of the B. Thanks to the mesh, I get this B width easily as it adjusts to my…

Pros
  • High test scores for support and durability
Cons
  • Useless features
