Review on 📷 U-TAP SDI: Plug-and-Play USB 3.0 Powered Simple SDI Capture Device by AJA by Victor Rodriguez

Can't say for sure if this unit works well but it seemed well built and easy to use. However, after using two of these devices on our PMW-F5 and both devices not working, it became clear that they would never work with this camera. The SDI channel of these devices does NOT support PSF (Progressive Segmented Frame) as a signal. PSF is similar to the older in-between version of interlaced and progressive. AJA support was helpful both times, I wish the original call realized what was going on, they told me my device was broken. After trying a second device I called again and they figured out the problem. I used the HDMI version, had no problems, actually liked it. just want SDI for future use.
