Review on ๐Ÿš— Dorman 603-098 Audi Front Engine Coolant Reservoir: Ideal for Select Audi Models by Brian West

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Has not expired yet! for Coolant Recovery Kits

It's been a week since I installed it and there are no leaks. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that I had to cut off the edge of the flange on the tank that fits the support bracket (about 1/8 inch away). My car is a 2004 Audi A6. To make installation easier and least messy, I used a siphon to get as much coolant as possible out of the old reservoir before disconnecting any hoses, then removed the top two hoses and pinched them to keep them from leaking, then pinched and removed the lower hose from the reservoir and quickly cover it with a large needle over the reservoir outlet to prevent the residual coolant in the reservoir from leaking out. Installation is carried out in reverse order the sediment.Lastly, before plugging in the power plug, do not forget to make sure that the pins of the level sensor are mounted directly on the tank.A warning light may illuminate on the instrument cluster bulb (low coolant indicator) if the contacts are not have direct contact with the electrical plug. There is a coolant level sensor in the reservoir.
