Review on Rozhkovy coffee maker REDMOND RCM-1503, silver/black by Mateusz Banasiuk ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Some kind of defective product, I definitely won't buy it anymore.

Given for a wedding. It turned out the following - a removable coffee horn has a very small volume, so it is unrealistic to brew strong coffee for 2 mugs. We drink coffee and tea mugs, and because of their diameter, they do not fit into specially squeezed mugs on delivery, and therefore, during operation, the coffee maker vibrates, the cups jump and move apart - the coffee spills past, you have to constantly adjust the cups. I really liked the joke of their marketers - called "warming cups". There is no heating there - the upper part of the coffee maker was made of metal and pipes with hot water pass under it. This is the cup warmer. Perhaps if the cups are kept there for about an hour, they will heat up, but who drinks coffee like that? I would especially like to note the low temperature of the coffee at the outlet - if you do not turn on the button for the elevated coffee temperature, then when cream is added to freshly brewed coffee, it becomes cold. I have tried many times to make a cappuccino and it never came out right. Of course there is foam, but not the same as it should be and it turns out it is not at all easy. I tried different milks, and even cream - now I don’t even try to make cappuccino. In the rest - coffee turns out tastier than in a drip-type coffee maker.

Pros
  • Easy to wash
Cons
  • Low coffee temperature, strong vibration, unsuitable for cappuccino
