Worked as expected and was easy to use (very important!). Battery life is pretty good as long as you remember to turn it off when not in use. It lasts all day and evening if used and into the next day. Our dog (140lb Rottweiler) was aggressive on a leash and difficult to control. This device didn't hurt him (tested for wearability on my arm), but it caught his attention. The vibration was his "shock" and the actual jolts were kept to a minimum just to get his attention. PLEASE learn how to use these devices properly (correct use, not just how the device works) before using it on a dog. This should NOT punish/harm the dog! This is to get her attention so you can use voice commands (the goal!) to get her to obey. Four stars instead of 5 only because the fit was difficult due to the thickness of the device compared to the collar itself. It was difficult to pull him tight enough to maintain close contact, but not so much that he choked.
