This backpack is lightweight and well constructed. The zippers are spacious and work perfectly. The side pockets are a great size to comfortably hold my iPhone. After a thief tried to get into my front opening backpack, I only bought ones that have a back opening main compartment. An opening facilitates access to the main compartment. Adjustable shoulder straps are comfortable and won't dig into your shoulder like rope straps. I haven't tested the water resistance yet, so I can't comment on that yet. There are a few minor quirks, such as the straps being a little too easy to adjust and the pockets in the main compartment could have been a bit deeper for my fussiness, but none of those observations disappoint. I recommended it - for me it's nice enough to buy as a gift. Update: I've been wearing this almost every day for about six months now. I regularly get compliments on that. It rained continuously for about half an hour recently and I was pleased that he poured the water satisfactorily.
