I wasn't sure what quality to expect for a $10-15 car phone mount. I am impressed. Details appear to be of good material. The overall construction is solid. Even the arm opening mechanism (to pull out the phone) moves in a controlled manner instead of just opening. So far I am happy with this purchase. The only thing I didn't like was that it requires a tightening method to attach to the vent, which puts significant torque on the vent itself. After tightening it there were no problems, but when tightening it I was a bit nervous that I might break the vent part.
