I ordered this guy to hold either a second webcam or some lighting for my streaming rig. I have other photography gear, including a tripod and selfie stick (as well as a camera ;3), but I'm definitely not an expert. However, I certainly wouldn't call this tripod "quality" or "sturdy build" and wonder if reviewers have ever come across a suitable tripod. However, real tripods cost no less than $25, and the heights that can be reached make up for the so-so build quality and lack of serious stability. However, I wouldn't recommend it as a first-time purchase for a proper tripod or selfie stick. It's too low quality and unstable to be a full-size tripod (trust me, if you want a full-size tripod you should invest in the right one) and it's too big to use as a travel selfie stick (recommend Anker selfie stick). . or one of the clones for it). That said, it's still good value for money, and if you need a second tripod to support a light or an extra webcam, for example, it works just fine.
