I've been switching between Zojirushi and Tiger BC rice cookers for weeks. I've used Tiger all my life, but I've heard Zojirushi rice lasts a long time. This is important because we eat rice at every meal and it's a hassle to constantly prepare a fresh batch of rice. Newer versions cost more so I researched and got this older version. (There are cheaper ones, but they are not made in Japan). I'm glad I bought this one because it always makes the perfect white rice for sushi! It is easy to clean and use. Be sure to use the uncooked rice measuring cup provided. As you can see from the photo, the rice stayed fresh even after 31 hours. There were some crunchy bits on the sides but we didn't care because they were so minimal. Get this rice cooker! I have 5.5 cups for two which is more than enough.
