You MUST understand how to use them before going into this. Basically, here are two things to remember: Female plug, you're going to have a bad time. The larger end of the connector is for the MALE connector (the pins protrude inside the plastic housing), the smaller end is for the FEMALE connector (nothing should protrude). Another thing is that the attachment wings are not crimp points, just 2 crimp points. The small crimps the wire, the larger crimps the gasket or insulation, depending on which sealing method you prefer. Install the pins with the locking wings DOWN. AFTER you figure out how to use them, they're decent. Maybe I'm still misunderstanding something, but the red plastic anti-return device will not snap back into place after the pins are inserted. If you push it hard enough it will work, but it's uninspiring. Trust. I would love to run without them if I wasn't afraid of the pins failing. But that doesn't stop her either. One of the pins in the 4 connectors I made today STILL pops out when pulled. I have no idea why. Personally I would recommend buying the best ones. I don't really trust them and you only get TWO per size. TWO?!? I had to use 3 pins because I ran out of 2 pins after a jumper. (plugs on each side). This set is similar to a sample set and bad at the same time.
