What you need to know is not to trust the colors of traditional trailer wiring. This is a very well built unit, however the wire colors are not what I expected. My picture has what I found what they refer to, but yours may very well be. The kit includes many grommets for exiting the box in multiple directions. The cable wiring is solid and should work well. I'm not surprised that white is grounded, as is common in trailer wiring, but black is POSITIVE, at least on mine. Would buy again.
