Worth buying but the manufacturer needs MUCH better support to install it. I finally successfully installed it on a 2017 Highlander (with automatic transmission, automatic headlights, button start, NOT a hybrid). It works great, shutting itself off (with the doors locked) if you don't get to your car in about 15 minutes. The device comes without instructions in the box (web link only). Watching the video will help remove the vehicle trim panel/dash and see where the wiring harness is installed. Please note this product is only available with the two in the 12- V-video is installed and the programming of the black brain box is different (simpler) then 12V olt in the video Installation overview: (I connected all the connections to the brain box first before attempting to install them and found that many wires and connectors were unused. The step 1 heading is also an instruction, and the step 2 and step 3 headings describe what is covered in that step. Confusing! Yes! FYI, there is a "Valet Switch" option in the bag for various parts that need to be plugged in. The instructions for this are poor, and the fact that it has to be plugged in isn't ideal. The operator accepted my question and after about two hours the tech support replied with nonsense that didn't help my question, so don't expect fast service or correct answers to their first answer.
