Easy installation and good performance

Installation took about 25 minutes. It would be quicker but hesitant to pull the dash down/out with the force required. The instructions were relatively easy, but I also watched a YouTube video to make sure I pulled the correct wire harness to connect with the cable that came with it. Works as it should with no problems. Didn't trigger any codes as some report in the diagnostic report.

Good to have lunch with this product now! Were the main parts defective? quality control?

Well the installation was a nightmare! There are no instructions on the packaging, incorrect labeling of corks. I called Mfg. on, spoke to the technician several times, they emailed instructions, it's quite difficult to figure out the different vehicle options. I ordered a special kit for my car. After 5 hours with this setup I had to contact Tech again and found out the unit I received was faulty, had to disassemble the dashboard again, remove the full kit and send it to them for them to lookโ€ฆ

Too many extra cables, crappy instructions.

Pros:- It probably works fine- I JUST installed it.- Easy to install despite "instructions". online guide? - Seriously, this annoys me. - This is another generic drug offered by several companies other than having "rebranded" their own. Why should we pay more just to get useful instructions? - OMG, too many extra wires to hide under the dash, that sucks. (See photo, this pile doesn't fit in a beer can) Despite my current moodiness, I look forward to using remote launch on the upcoming winterโ€ฆ

Works as advertised

Definitely easy to install on my 2017 Toyota Highlander (Limited w/ Platinum Package). I didn't read the instructions, just followed the video instructions. The only thing that bothered me was removing the interior panels. I wish the instructional video gave a little more detail on how much force you need to use to remove the panels. Another tip: if you have big hands like me, be prepared as some of the ports are quite narrow. Other than that, setting up the module to communicate with FOB wasโ€ฆ

Same setup as Toyota brand but much cheaper.

I installed this unit on a 2017 Highlander Platinum, there were no instructions no problem, I just followed the tutorial video on this page, everything was there to install except one step closer to the end of the Videos at 6:03 during programming when he says to press the start button twice, then the blue light flashes quickly and then the blue light goes out, turn off the car, close the doors and then it's ready to drive. ! But in my case the blue light wouldn't stop flashing fast so I triedโ€ฆ

Works great on 2017 Highlander XLE (Gas V6)

The hardest part of this installation is taking the fairings off, but using the included plastic tools and a YouTube video (I was just (Looking 2017 Highlander Xle MPC) I was able to install this with no problems.It took me about half an hour to install.It's a little annoying that the engine dies when you open the door, but since it has stop-start technology, it won't harm the engine anyway. The starter is beefy. Killing the engine when a door is opened is a function of the Toyota firmware andโ€ฆ

Great but poor guide and support

Worth buying but the manufacturer needs MUCH better support to install it. I finally successfully installed it on a 2017 Highlander (with automatic transmission, automatic headlights, button start, NOT a hybrid). It works great, shutting itself off (with the doors locked) if you don't get to your car in about 15 minutes. The device comes without instructions in the box (web link only). So here is a diagram to help you out that I want to have when installing. Tools Required: Light Phillips #2โ€ฆ
