I installed this unit on a 2017 Highlander Platinum, there were no instructions no problem, I just followed the tutorial video on this page, everything was there to install except one step closer to the end of the Videos at 6:03 during programming when he says to press the start button twice, then the blue light flashes quickly and then the blue light goes out, turn off the car, close the doors and then it's ready to drive. ! But in my case the blue light wouldn't stop flashing fast so I tried again with the same results so I turned off the car anyway and closed the doors and then tried and it worked (nice!) so wait In my case I just wait until the blue light flashes rapidly, turn off the car, close the doors and the installation is complete. Since it's a few hundred dollars cheaper than the Toyota brand, it's only worth it if it lasts as long. Hopefully it will stand the test of time, if I run into any issues I'll update it in this post, so far so good, fingers crossed and hoping for the best.
