Review on πŸ“· Kaysuda CA20 Face Recognition USB IR Camera for Windows Hello Windows 10, 1080P Web Camera (Entry Level) with Dual Omnidirectional Microphone for Video Conference and Home Office by Byron Lucas

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Huge module with wide angle milkquetoast camera quality but works with Windows Hello

SIZE: I put this camera on a 24 inch monitor and it takes up about 1/3 the width. She's tall boy. VIDEO QUALITY: I was surprised at how wide the camera angle is. That means you can see most of my messy room! Video output looks blurry and slightly grainy, but it's workable for video calls. Just make sure to blur the background or add a background photo. WINDOWS HELLO: After optimizing, everything works like clockwork. I have yet to figure out how to use WH with my password manager, but it's possible.-IMPORTANT:-- If using with a desktop PC, MAKE SURE you have a TPM module and that your motherboard supports it . I bought an MSI module from Revain for $25. It performs some additional security functions that I'm not familiar with. BONUS: The device has a switch to turn off the camera if you need extra security. I don't know if it turns off the included microphone. -- SHOULD YOU BUY? -- If you're looking for an affordable Windows Hello solution, yes! If video quality is important, I would recommend a separate webcam for calls and use Kaysuda exclusively for Windows Hello.
