I bought this carburetor with a little caveat about the $34 cost but the reviews made me add it to the cart to lay. The carb was sent to my garage 4 days later without a prime. My 1990 Honda TRX300 was new to me last fall and it never ran or ran very well. I fixed what I could, but not the bones. I was looking to rebuild the carb but like others who have commented it was the same price as if I had just bought a new carb. Installation took 30 minutes with basic tools. Sockets for 8, 10 and 12mm, Phillips screwdriver, small pliers and adjustable wrench. I didn't even have to remove the airbox, I just loosened it to move the carbs in and out. There was no need to modify the throttle cable or run a longer fuel line. It's probably the 1990 model. Put everything back together and the Honda immediately came to life! After 5 minutes I lowered the idle speed a bit and did a test drive. Works like new and works perfectly. I really hope these carbs last a while and don't give out after a few hours like some others have commented.
