. I've had the Cascadia since at least the Cascadia 7. Year after year each pair has always been great out of the box with no issues. I have narrow feet and they always fit me. Until last year with Cascadia 14. The internal healing of the back is a mess. It's just torn and falling apart. All the destruction also causes my socks to slow down in healing in a way that no other shoe does. I still have my Cascadia 9 in my closet as a fallback when I'm in a pink mood. My Cascadia 9, which I've had since 2014, is in much better condition than the Cascadia 14. If the materials were changed to something cheaper during production, that doesn't help this customer. I'll be looking for another pair of Cascadia soon and if I have the same experience next time I'm afraid it might be time to say for now that my loyalties are going to the brand.
