The cue is mechanically sound, the connection is firm, straight and does not hang out at the connection point. I removed the tip and put the Tiger Sniper Pro tip on it and it shoots great. If I were to change anything it would be the diameter of the shaft. It's similar to most bar cones, but I like a bit of the pro cone on mine. Based on my good advice they have a pro taper so I'm not used to the larger diameter shaft YET. Yes it is a hidden line now and it has fooled everyone I have played against so far. So overall it's a good buy for a novice player, and with a pro tip it's a Hustler Slayer.
