Review on 🔆 Prominence Home 80029-01 Alvina LED Globe Light Hugger Ceiling Fan, 42 inches, Satin Nickel by Tiffany Thompson

When I first saw the 17 inch blades I thought maybe this fan is too small but it looks great and moves the air really well with 5 blades. The oak side of the blades is the most attractive color. The darker color back is not so much. I followed the directions to the T as they were well documented and easy to follow. This is a low profile fan, 5 inches to the bottom of the blades and 11.5 inches to the bottom of the sphere. There is only a small A15 40W LED bulb but seems bright enough. The metallic finish is a dark bronze which I like. Everything fits snugly against the ceiling, nothing dangles or wobbles, balancing is not necessary. Best of all, the motor is quiet at all three speeds, definitely a lot quieter than my old 52" fan, which is why I wanted to replace it. I have not scolded any aspect of this fan's design. It's well thought out. All I had to do was mark the four case screws with black heads to make them bronze. Nothing more. I'm happy with this fan and glad it was easy to assemble.
