There are a few things I like about this lamp. The disadvantages far outweigh the advantages. The instructions are easy enough to follow. Adhesion and brightness were great when I tried it. I then cut it out according to the instructions and it went downhill from there. Since the first cut it doesn't work at all. The instructions say to only cut along the black line between the copper dots. After cutting without touching the copper tip, it no longer caught fire. Another thing is the power button. No photo, no mention in the instructions. Why are there arrows and why are they needed? Applied to Mrs Shew for replacement and was awarded third degree equivalent. Where did you cut, what did you use to cut it, attach photos and an explanation of how you cut it. For real? About a 2 foot piece of light. Although expensive, $35 wasn't worth everything I had to do due to a broken light. Then they said to send it back, I'll cover the postage and their "team" will check and send me a new one. Oh well, shipping cost $15! So if they send me another light it will cost me $50. They do not refund shipping costs. I went home, turned off the light, left this review and will never order sewing from Madame again. Ordered another HengBo LED sewing machine light for only $9.99. Much shorter light that fits my car perfectly, is dimmable and works great. "Sew" for a long time, madame sew: the first time the buyer burned out for 35 dollars. I guarantee they will never fool me again. Between me and my 4 cars they lost a customer that could have been for life.
