Review on Lenovo Chromebook Dual Core 802 11Ac ChromeOS by Dean Pascual

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So useful and affordable, could do with improvement.

It's so strong, fast and light. The charge lasts very long and you can check how long the battery lasts at any time, so I can estimate how much time I have for spontaneous study/work. My charging cable was damaged during the trip and I was able to buy a new one for $7 through Revain (shipping took 2 weeks, more expensive ones come sooner). Even buying it in the store would only cost me $30. Chrome OS is such a dream. Automatic update reminders, fast update times, and the ability to run so many pages, tabs, and apps at once make this a great system for people with ADHD. I can keep tabs and pages open for many of my projects without losing speed. How it can be improved: - Free / one-time video application. I tried videotaping lectures with my Chromebook a year ago, and while a basic flip camera was fantastic for this, the lack of a proper and affordable app made this a moot point. - Compatible with external CD/DVD-ROM

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other alternatives
