this is normal. But they are very flexible when full and difficult to put in the oven. When I use them I have to use a baking sheet that needs extra washing. I have a silicone cupcake mold that I bought elsewhere. It has a nice strong lip so you can easily carry it around without needing an extra tray or spilling anything. They work well and bake well, but I wouldn't buy them again. And the cupcake molds need to be placed in the cupcake pan for them to work. If you just pour batter in, they just spread out and can't be used unless you put them in something.
