Not Impressed: Kitchen & Dining

These non-stick pans are very fragile. I think they are so helpful in removing the baked product. I made some orange creams in the freezer and took them out of the pan. Getting off was also difficult.

Love it! for kitchen and dining room

Much easier to clean than metal dishes which usually need to be soaked. With silicone bowls, cleaning takes less than 5 minutes. I am absolutely in love with this set! Be careful though, after you take the pan out of the oven the 2 pieces of plastic on the handles are REALLY HOT!

Not what I expected

The price is excellent, I tried both rectangular and cupcakes, my cake turned out to be almost oval rather than rectangular. The heart shaped cupcake molds look like an odd shape. I hand washed at first, and I didn't like how it turned out. I'm not a professional baker, but I've never had a problem baking. But it might be useful for other people.

Too flexible, bakes slowly

Too flexible. You have to use a baking sheet in the oven or you're guaranteed to spill the batter all over the place. The loaves are curved on the sides. However, baked goods don't burn without oil or flour, so that's a plus. Added: Items bake slower. Check out my photo comparing donuts baked in a Scandinavian dish and putting this product in the oven at the same time. Nordicware rose much faster and was almost done before silicon started to rise.

Very flexible. good for baking pans

this is normal. But they are very flexible when full and difficult to put in the oven. When I use them I have to use a baking sheet that needs extra washing. I have a silicone cupcake mold that I bought elsewhere. It has a nice strong lip so you can easily carry it around without needing an extra tray or spilling anything. They work well and bake well, but I wouldn't buy them again. And the cupcake molds need to be placed in the cupcake pan for them to work. If you just pour batter in, they…

False advertising is best done in muffin and cupcake liners

This is NOT 100% SILICONE. The seller is committing fraud by advertising it as such. Here's a little trick for those who are going to buy "pure silicone" baking molds from dubious online retailers. This is called the "pinch test": fold the baking pan by pinching the crease between your fingers. 100% silicone without fillers does not stain at all. Silicone with fillers (it definitely has that) turns white in the crease. The white spot will disappear when you loosen the clamp, but it will be…
