got us out quick and easy to close it again - it always popped up when I wasn't expecting it and nobody except I was able to figure out how to snap it back together. On the other hand, it was a much simpler design and once opened it could just as easily be snapped back together. The net isn't something you would play with older kids (because the sticks are too small). , but for young people it is a suitable introduction to the sport and (if it is a gift) immediately opened and used within 2 minutes. However, I want the clubs to be soft. My 3 year old keeps hitting people/things with a stick and another set we supplied with a soft stick means you won't lose a tooth if you get hit in the face with it. I think the super hard sticks that come with this set are too short for kids to handle properly and too hard for younger kids (and toddlers) to actually use them.
