Well first of all my kids loved it. The tiny goals and sticks somehow make the game a lot more fun. You can set it up and use it yourself. So why two stars? On the second use, one of the plastic pieces somehow came off completely, leaving the target itself broken. They didn't bother much, it's just that the plastic is pretty fragile. The folding piece with ball holders and racquet holders is good, wish it was more durable.

Two of my boys love this item. They are 3 and 4 years old and they play with this thing all the time. The great thing about this thing is that it can be stacked with both racquets and the ball. There are racket and ball covers so you can travel with the goal as a unit. The sticks aren't that tall, I'd say two and a half feet, so this is the perfect size for toddlers. One for left-handers, one for right-handers. We used this item in our basement and the kids love it. Highly recommended.

This set is the perfect introduction to off-ice hockey. The Fold-n-Go hockey goals are easy to install and remove and come with a stick and ball. This game can be played on foot or roller skates and learn the basics. I wish the sticks were a bit longer as the kids playing here were a bit tall for them. Maybe the target audience is under 8 years old. However, they enjoyed hitting the ball and blocking potential goals. That's enough to spark interest and that's the point I guess.

This mini hockey set is ideal for younger kids as the net and stick are smaller. That being said, my older two enjoyed playing with their younger brother just as much, just with their own larger racquets. It folds up so it's pretty easy to store, but it's not the most durable net in the world. Mini sticks are very comfortable, pleasant to the touch. Very cheap and poorly designed. First, it's the perfect size for my 3 year old, but he's not coordinated enough to hit the ball with a racquet. At the age of 4 or 5, the net and especially the racquets become too small. These sticks are so short it's ridiculous. One is curved for right-handers and the other for left-handers, which is fine for left-handers, but given their percentage of the population, it seems like an odd decision. Basement hockey is all the rage now. The boys are mostly obsessed with baseball, but they've never come across a sport they don't want to play.
