Review on Fintie SlimShell Glittering Marble Case for iPad Pro 12.9 (2nd Gen) 2017 / iPad Pro 12.9 (1st Gen) 2015 - Ultra Lightweight Standing Protective Cover with Auto Wake/Sleep by Steven Lane

5 years later I repurchased this case

Yes, my 2015 iPad Pro still works, shock! Anyway, after 5 years of love and even abuse, including from my kids who have thrown it off a bunk bed (and yes, onto a hardwood floor with no carpet) more than once. this case ended up breaking in the corner next to the camera, nothing much happened that caused it to break, i only noticed it after a minor fall, so yes it has always done its job in terms of protection. The Printed Galaxy is 5 years old, the Composition Book model is a new replacement. You can see that Fintie has updated its logo and location, but nothing else has changed and I'm very happy about that. The 5 year old model is showing some wear around the edges and general dirt from not being cleaned enough, but otherwise has held up without delaminating or separating in any way. The material doesn't seem the most expensive (because it isn't), but they seem to have good quality control and are durable. It doesn't look cheap. When I was about to swap out the case, I actually took a closer look to see if there was anything better, and this case was the thinnest with a hard case back and full dust cover since I put it right in my sleeveless backpack every day. The stand design is what you would expect from a standard iPad triple cover which is small but perfect for my needs as I am interested in art so I don't use a stand most of the time and just want a case, that comes out that way, I can twist, twist, and tilt it however I want, on my lap or on a table without being uncomfortable and in the way. If I needed a drawing stand I would buy a special stand that could actually hold the weight. I don't expect a built-in kickstand to offer that kind of support. I just wish he wouldn't distract or bother me while I was drawing. The bezel on the inside edge is very thin and gives me maximum range of motion for my hand, which seems like stronger cases really missed the ball, as I'm not going to pay triple for a case that blocks the iPadPro's main use of drawing. I knew that when I bought it in 2015 because the only reason I went back to the iPad platform was to add the Apple Pencil, but case makers like OtterBox didn't get everything right in 2015. Luckily for me, Finty came up with a good design. pointless solution and still the best one for your iPad Pro 2015/2017 in my opinion. The only thing I was hoping to find in the upgrade case was a pen holder and this model doesn't have one, but I didn't. For 5 years I preferred instead to use a separate small carrier with a strap to wrap around the bag or toss separately in a bag. The Fintie made one I bought 5 years ago still works and I have passed it on to my daughter. I also bought a new one from Finty to go with this new case.
