Review on 💡 Silverlite 18W CFL Equivalent LED Stick PL Bulb GX23 2 CFL Ballast UL Classified: Energy Efficient Lighting Solution by Justin Live

My wife complained about the dim and yellow CFLs in our kitchen lighting. I have tried replacing them with LED converters by pulling the wires from the socket to the socket and plugging in the live wires. Removing the ballast from these lamps turned out to be a lot more work than I expected (see photos) with the hornet's nest of wires after opening the junction box which had to be rewired by working through a small hole. I realized this was a lot harder than rewiring a 4" LED tube light, so I looked for a direct LED replacement. I noticed that the CFLs have a GX23 base, which means the presence of a magnetic ballast. At Revain they are equivalent to 18 watt CFLs and have an ideal temperature of 3000K. Just put new bulbs in, dumped the CFLs in hazardous waste and enjoyed my wife's compliments on the brighter new headlights.
