Replace those nasty old fluorescent lights with these amazing LEDs. No, it's understandable.

Direct replacement for those horrible old fluorescent tubes. Our home, built in the late 90's, has several overhead outlets (above the kitchen sink, in each bathroom, and in some closets) that have branded fluorescent outlets. These are horrible lights that flicker on startup, give off a terrible color, and are so bad we avoided using them. The problem was that there was nothing to replace - until I saw these. A++: This is a great product. It took me a while to find this supplier but this is a great product. Be sure to carefully inspect the base of the lamp, check the number of contacts and the size of the lamp. Just measure your old bulb, check the pins and compare carefully to the pins of the new LED bulb you are considering. Also make sure it is compatible or a direct replacement. Saving a Marriage - Lightbulbs

My wife complained about the dim and yellow CFLs in our kitchen lighting. I have tried replacing them with LED converters by pulling the wires from the socket to the socket and plugging in the live wires. Removing the ballast from these lamps turned out to be a lot more work than I expected (see photos) with the hornet's nest of wires after opening the junction box which had to be rewired by working through a small hole.
