Great tone. Retains detail and does not fade.
It's not my job with clay if Sculpey Original doesn't fit. It works well and doesn't change color too much when mixed with other colors. It's very easy to mix with paints to get a marbled effect while maintaining the color you want, unlike the original Sculpey that mutes everything. I love this clay for making jewelry but I also use it for sculpting. That's great. Not too stiff but definitely keeps its shape and holds the details VERY well.
