Perfect Fit. I have an automatic thermostatic fan in my Holiday Rambler Alumascape. It no longer opened the vent, but just whirled and whirled. I ordered it and it was done in 3 minutes. It was a super quick replacement and a perfect fit. 2 screws, 2 wires. Take out the bolts, disconnect the quick disconnect cables, connect the cables to the new unit, put it back in place with the gears aligned (very easy) and replace the bolts. I think it took me literally 3 minutes - although I'm quite skilled. It fits perfectly and everything is as it should be. It might be cheaper and they probably make good money off it, but hey, they have mouths to feed too, and I was willing to pay to get a solid solution. That's it, look no further. My original had a 4-piece grip instead of 2, and the plastic base was a slightly different design, but it fit with no issues. A good thing.
